Just A Little Note…

… to say that regular posts will resume as soon as I can! It’s been quite busy since my last post- preparing for and attending my convocation ceremony (I’m officially a graduate now!), for one, and May is going to be quite a hectic month for me with several events I’m going to so posts will still be quite sporadic :\ I also might be going down to Labuan in June for a project… so we’ll see, but I promise that I’ll try my best to post at least :) There’s quite some things I’d like to review, just need to be able to have some time off to take photos :P

Also, I will be moving down to Singapore by the end of July this year to further my studies :)

Sorry about the absence of last Sunday‘s Sunday Tip >_< Been quite busy with helping my boyfriend with his move to Labuan, which is where I am as well now with him since Monday :)

I’ll be here for approximately 3 weeks, but fret not! I’ve got some posts drafted and photos taken- but my laptop here has no Adobe Photoshop and there’s a lack of a memory card reader so it might take some time to get the posts up. That, and I am here mainly for work, so although I promise I won’t be on a complete hiatus, posts will be quite sporadic.

In the meantime, Happy Leap Year Day! :D It comes once every 4 years so make the best out of it :P

Happy Chinese/Lunar New Year 2012!

It’s the year of the Water Dragon! I know it’s already the third day of the Chinese/Lunar New Year, which began on the 23rd January 2012, but it’s never too late to wish all my friends and readers of Beaute Fabuleuse a Happy Chinese/Lunar New Year 2012 (Since the festivities technically last for 15 days) :P I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support so far and may this year bring an abundance of good health and prosperity to everyone! :)

Sorry about the unexpected hiatus- have been busy and caught up with preparing and cleaning for the Chinese/Lunar New Year and I’ve been enjoying a lovely time with my family and boyfriend, as well as giving myself a nice, well-deserved break from settling my Masters degree application, which has finally been sent out before the holidays. I hope you’ve all enjoyed your holidays thus far :D

Liebster Blog Award

When Lily of Chloe.Ash Tweeted saying that she had nominated me (Amongst others as well) for the Liebster Blog Awards, I felt really light-headed and excited! I was still in Labuan that time and had no proper access to the internet, but thankfully I managed to wrangle my Dad‘s laptop for about 5 minutes to check the blog post that she put up about it and leave a comment of thanks! :) I am really grateful for it!

Chloe.Ash is a beauty blogger from Malaysia and is also one of the ones that I fervently follow (Which is not a lot). I really enjoy reading her reviews (And sometimes very brief snippets of her life)- her writing style is succint and straight to the point, and not to mention her reviews are varied, too. In a nutshell, her blog reads very smoothly. So if you’re not already reading her blog, I suggest that you do so :P

“Liebster” means “dearest” or “beloved” in German, and the Liebster Blog Award is awarded to blogs that have fewer than 300 followers. Basically, it’s supporting the newer and upcoming blogs in the blogosphere! Now you can see why I feel so honoured to have been nominated for it, eh? :D The support really means a lot to me :)

Now, I am supposed to choose and link to 5 blogs with less than 300 followers, passing the award to them… but I don’t think I am reading any blogs that has fewer than 300 followers for now, and that hasn’t already received the Liebster Blog Award :P I shall update this page when I do find blogs that I love that have less than 300 followers and have yet to be nominated. Promise!

In the meantime, I would like to once again convey my sincerest appreciation to Chloe.Ash for the award, the support and the lurve! I shall continue striving to take good photos (Sometimes, my posts are late because I am not fully satisfied with the photos taken) and keeping the layout easy to read for you :P I would also like to thank my parents, little brother and boyfriend for being supportive of my foray into beauty blogging (Both physically and mentally), and also the beauty blogs that I read that inspire me :)
